Yuwood is also named as Nothern Elm. It is traditionally the most common wood used in the manufacture of furniture in Northern China.
Southern Elm is also named Jumu in China, was a popular furniture -making wood in the Suzhou region.
Jumu is widely distributed thtoughout China with concentrations found in Jiangshu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces, as well as Korea and Japan, where it is commonly known as keyaki.
Rosewood is also named as Hongmu in China. Rosewood has nice and clear grains with beautiful patterns, and it is a dense, hard and comparatively stable material for furniture manufacture.
