A hollow Bagua mirror is used in Feng Shui if negative energy outside your home needs to be neutralised by absorbing it. The hollow shape of the mirror then sucks that energy into it to neutralize it.
A convex Bagua mirror is used to neutralize negative energy (Sha Chi) in the direction of your home (to the front door or to the windows). This is the function of a Bagua mirror that is least desirable, because here is a continual reflection of negative energy underway. No Good Feng Shui!
The main rule when using these mirrors is that they should never be used indoors. The second Feng Shui rule when using the Bagua mirror is that you only use it if there is any negative Feng Shui energy Ãâ ‚¬Å¡Ãƒ €šÃ‚ ¢ ¬ÃƒÆ’ ¢Ã‚ ¬ÃƒÆ’â ‚¬ ¦Ãƒ ¢Ã¢ €š ¬Ã… €œ Sha chi or Si chi Ãâ ‚¬Å¡Ãƒ €šÃ‚ ¢ ¬ÃƒÆ’ ¢Ã‚ ¬ÃƒÆ’â ‚¬ ¦Ãƒ ¢Ã¢ €š ¬Ã… €œ toward your home or business address. The Feng Shui Bagua Mirror is not intended as a decoration piece and should never be used as such.
If you are in the situation where you need subtle protection in your home or office against the potentially damaging effects of Sha Chi energies (for example, sharp or aggressive looking structures or construction works that are in the direction of your home or workplace WISE) You could choose to use the Bagua mirror. The best way to ask an experienced Feng Shui consultant is how to place the mirror best. Traditionally, the mirror is hung above the front door, or above a large window toward the negative objects and energies.
Outside use: Always Hang the mirror on a sheltered spot, if possible, to protect the mirror from weather influences.
